A group of people seated around a dining table — but with an unsettling atmosphere hanging in the air.

Dressed in their finest, their posturing, vanity, and arrogance were rendered unnaturally through a deliberate distortion of the video imagery.

Based in Brussels, Op de Beeck is known for his large-scale installations, sculptures, video works, drawings, paintings, photography, and text-based pieces — working fluently across many media.
